ELECTION QUALIFYING

NOTICE OF ELECTION & QUALIFYING FOR CITY OF SHILOH
Pursuant to the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the City of Shiloh hereby publishes notice that a General Municipal Election will be held on November 5th, 2019 for the purpose of electing four (4) Council seats and a Mayoral seat. The first day to qualify for this election is Wednesday, August 21st from 9 am to 1 pm. Qualifying will continue Thursday, August 22nd from 9 am to 5 pm. The last day to qualify will be Friday, August 23rd from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Qualifying will take place at City Hall, 1175 Main St. Shiloh, Georgia.
The qualifying fee for each councilor will be $10.80; the fee for the Mayoral seat will be $16.20. Candidates must be a registered voter and a resident of Shiloh. The last day for Shiloh residents to register to vote in this election will be October 7, 2019.
Early voting starts on Monday, October 14, 2019 and ends on Friday, November 1st, 2019. Hours for early voting are Monday-Friday from 8 am until 5 pm at the Harris County Board of Commissioners Office located at 104 North College Street, Hamilton, GA.
