CITY OF SHILOH
MUNICIPAL ELECTION QUALIFYING NOTICE AND FEES
Notice is hereby given that the City of Shiloh will hold a Municipal General Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Shiloh Municipal Building located at 1222 Main St. to fill the offices of Council Members Post 1-4 and the office of Mayor. Those elected will serve a four-year term.
Anyone desiring to run for one of these offices may qualify in the office of the City Clerk at Shiloh City Hall located at 1222 Main St. Shiloh, GA 31826 beginning at 9:00 AM Monday, August 21st, 2023 through 4:30 PM Thursday, August 24th, 2023. The non-refundable qualifying fee of $10.80 per council member and $16.80 for Mayor shall be paid at the time of qualifying. Candidates must have been a resident of the City of Shiloh for 12 months immediately preceding the election and shall be registered to vote. The last day to register and be eligible to vote in the November 7, 2023 Election is October 10, 2023. You may register to vote online at the Secretary of State’s Website.
Early voting starts Monday, October 16th, 2023 and ends Friday, November 3rd, 2023. Hours for early voting are M-F from 8 am until 5 pm at Harris County Election Office located at 757 Carver Circle, Hamilton, GA.
